MERRY-GO-ROUND
Linda Delayen

I choose the blue horse
On this merry-go-round
But don't take the red one away
I may
Want to ride that one tomorrow.
The music starts
It's always the same
I start around
Slowly at first
Then faster---
Around Around Around
I am carried up with the horse
I am carried down with it, too
I cannot get off at will.
Up Up Up
  Down Down Down
And thus it shall always be.
I choose the blue horse
On this merry-go-round
But don't take the red one away
I may
Want to ride that one tomorrow.
